How to get to Secret Lagoon
Secret Lagoon sits in Flúðir on Iceland’s Golden Circle. Most visitors arrive by car or guided tour from Reykjavík. Roads are good year‑round, though winter can mean snow and ice — drive with care and check conditions.
Naik kereta
There are no trains in rural Iceland. The easiest route is by car from Reykjavík via Route 1 (Ring Road) and Route 30 to Flúðir.
Naik mobil
From Reykjavík, drive east on Route 1 to Selfoss, then take Route 30 toward Flúðir. The journey is about 1.5–2 hours depending on weather. Parking is free on site.
Naik bus
Public buses serve regional towns irregularly; guided Golden Circle tours are the simplest option if you’re not driving. Many tours include the lagoon as an optional stop.
Berjalan kaki
From Flúðir village, it’s a short walk or drive to the lagoon. Rural paths can be icy in winter; wear sturdy shoes and mind the steam vents.
